one i really like is religious. its not really a quote but a little story, if you're catholic you've prolly heard it. Or christian too maybe idk.
FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints. Other times there were one set of footprints. This bothered me because I noticed that during the Low periods of my life. When I was suffering from anguish, sorrow, or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints. So I said to the Lord, "You promised me, Lord, That if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I noticed that during the most trying periods of my life There have only been one set of prints in the sand. Why, When I have needed you most, You have not been there for me?" The Lord replied, "The times when you have seen only one set of footprints Is when I carried you."

i foudn another thing that has a lot of meaning for me. My grandma died May 2002 when she was 67 in a car accident and my whole family, especially my mom and me, was devastated. I was so close to my grandma. Well, in a Christmas card from one of her friends, we got this poem and again its a religious poem but i thought i'd pass it on.
My First Christmas in Heaven
I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below,
With tiny light, like heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tears,
For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,

Thats so adorable! Alright, Im sure everyone knows this quote [therefore I wont type it up or anything], but one of my absolute favorite quotes is 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 [aka: "Love is patient, love is kind..."].

yeah most people havnt, but it does exist. and alot of people are it. we have 4 episcopalian churches in my town. so it's not like some weird thing made up by a guy wearing a loincloth and carrying a king james bible. |

Thats not such a true statement, Abby. I wish all Christian religions were closer together. Im Methodist, in case you're still caring, or what. So I probably have way more liberal views on religion than any of you three.

im not up on my religious info but dont all christian ppl believe in god and jesus and jesus is god and died on the cross and all that (wow its sad i have been to church every sunday practically since i was born and i went to a parish school from K-8, and now i go to a private catholic school and i still dont know this stuff so correct me if i am wrong)
