Rory hopped on tristans back, and he ran the last few blocks with her on his back.
They burst into the diner with royr half falling off cuz they were laughing so hard. He turned around and set her on the counter. Alyssa came in after cracking up, and hunter was fighting it off. Jess was laughing, failing to see the great humor, but enjoying laughing with friends.
"OK Luke, we need 8 burgers, 5 coffees, and one float--and for oyu and my mom to go out--we can manage this place ourselves luke" ROry said with a smile, seeingn his doubt "just a small party"
(i will be back in like an hour after bball)

Alyssa covered her mouth tryin to contain her laughter, "WE NEED YOU TWO TO GO ON A DATE!" she repeated outloud so that Luke and Lorelai could here this time. Hunter elbowed her in the stomach, "OUCH!" she said rubbing her side and hitting he back, playfully, "What i just said what you all know you wanted to see VERY LOUD! But come on, you to know it's true, THE WHOLE TOWN KNOWS! I haven't even been here for a whole 24 hours and I know!" she smiled, "SO STOP MAKING US WAIT!!" she said smiling, "oh and I'm really really hungry so can you be fast with the food!" she smiled! Tristan, Hunter, Rory and Jess were all cracking up.

"First rule Als--never take Lorelai Gilmore seriously" Rory said, smiling swetly at her mom. She grabbed lorelais hand and shoved her out of the diner, doing the same to luke. She watched as they walked hand in hand into the park, and she slid behind the counter. Jess took Freckles upstairs, and then he joined her in servin custoimers. Alyssa Hunter and Tristan sat at the counter, eating the food

Rory closed the diner at about 11:30. Luke and Lorelai still weren't back. Jess got her one of lukes flannel shirts because she was getting chilly in her yellow and white halter. SHe curled up with tristan on one of the booth benches, and alyssa and hunter did the same across from them. Jess decided to head upstairs.
Rory drifted off to sleep......

"What....what?!?!!" Rory said, waking up to slobber on her face. SHe opened her eyes to see jess hopping around the diner trying to put a shoe on, and freckles face in hers.
"Jess---whats wrong?" ROry said, sitting up.
Tirstn stirred behind her, and alyssa and hunter were also waking up.
"Lorelai and Luke never came back--I am gonna go look for them" Jess said.
"Us too" ROry said, hopping up.
They all walked toward the park.
"OMG!" rory whispered. Their in front of them, lorelai and luek were curled up on a park bench right in front of the pond
"Thy must have slept here all night" rory said in disbelief

Lorelai and Luke woke up starlted by the 5 faces sairing at the two. "Jess, Rory what are you guys doing here?" Luke asked.
"we were about you ask you the same question,"alyssa joked with a smile.
"Um we were Rory what are you doing wearing my shirt?" Luke asked confussed.

"Yeah right, and my dad is really the pope!" she joked. "TELL US!" she wined. "Who wants breakfast?" Luke said changing the subject fast. "WAY TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT!" Jess laughed at how alyssa was a total crowd warmer---most people didnt warm up to luke in years and she had done it in a day......almost jealous.
"C'mon---we ran out in such a flurry that i didnt even get coff----OMG! MOM! You havent had coffee in like" check her watch "12 hours!!!!!!! Your usually up at all hours making yourself cups!"
