Lorelai and Luke, seeing everything ok, went back to the diner.
"Well, we have to go" ROry said, smiling at this sof side of jess, carrying the dog.
"Hey rory---youwannagooutsometime?" He asked in a rush.
"OH-OH-Jess, actually I have a boyfriend"
"Oh yeah, bag boy"
"Well,actually, no---we broke up---His name is Tristan"

"God everyone wants to go out with girl," ALyssa joked. "She moved up from 'bag boy' to 'Preppy Boy'," Alyssa added to Jess, "sorry dude."

Jess just stared, not sure if he heard right.
"Jess--I still wanna be your friend, and I want you to meet tristan---how about you come over and meet him and hunter, and watchj a movie with the four of us."
Rory said.
Then Freckles popped out of calm dog mode and licked his face.
Rory laughed, and covered her mouth seeing the look on her face. She shook, and her face turned red.
Finally he started lauhing. He set the dog down and hooked a leash onto her collar. They ran back to the house.
'hmmmm....i could set him up!' rory thought, as she opened the door to her house, hoping clear skies were ahead

Rory and Alyssa burst through the door laughing and giggling.
"Oh good you girls are home," Tristan said from the couch.
"It's been long enough!" Hunter joked taking a sip from his coke.
"Oh impacent boys!" Alyssa joked. "We had puppy trouble," Alyssa said smiling at Rory meaning 'Puppy Love', which was what is figured was this Jess kid was all about, She's seen em before, rough and tough on the outside, but having a sweet soft inside who liked to read or something. Hell, she even dated em... Alyssa looked at Rory and they both started cracking up, yet again.
"Hm that sounds interesting," Tristan said get up from the couch and walking over to ROry with a questionalable look on his face. "What are you to up too?" he asked.
"We're Baaaaaaaaad Baaaaaaaaad Little Girls," Alyssa said acting liek a sheep (with the "Baaad's).

Rory ran back to the door
"HEy Jess---come on!" SHe said, watching him chase the dog around the yard "C'mon Freck!"
The dog shot into the house, straight into tristan ho was coming out. He hopped around at hois feet.
Tristan picked him up.
"T., this is Jess---Luke's nephew. COming back from Lane's we met up with him while he was looking for Freckles. The dog." ROry said, walkng into the house and tlaking over her shoulder to the guys.
"ANd Jess this is Hunter---Alyssa's EMT"

"Yeah I'm 'Alyssa's EMT'," Hunter said putting his arm around Alyssa shoulder.
"Yeah he's MY EMT!" Alyssa said cracking up.
"I think your dog likes me," Tristan said at Freckles licked his face.
"AWWWWWWWW! HOW SWEET," Alyssa said making kissy faces at Tristna with a little babby voice.
"Do you see what i have to put up with?!" Tristan joked asking mostly the dog and Jess.
"HEY!" ALyssa said slapping his shoulders.
"Ouch!," Tristan said. "Dude you better watch out, she hurts!" he said to Hunter.
Hunter laughed. "That's right, and don't you forget it!," Alyssa joked with the two.

hearing the silence, rory cut in
"His mom---well---in Lukes words, "Liz says he is getting into trouble"" ROry sid, trying to fill the silence. Jess set the dog down and started jogging. Rory glanced at Tristan, and she ran after Jess.
"Jess- whats wrong"
"Does he like me---does he care about me at all?" Jess said, and rory was surprised to see hurt in his eyes.
"Oh Jess.....he cares so much about you---you are his family---you rank right up their with my mom" SHe said with a smile

"How could you have known.." Tristan said more than asked.
"I still shouldn't have--" she started but was cut off by Hunter.
"Don't worry about it he'll be fine," Hunter said.
"Yeah, I guess," Alyssa said still feeling bad.

"Yeah--don't worry Als---Jess is tough" ROry said with a smile as she handed Freckles back to Jess and leaned against tristan

Alyssa laughed, "You're a tough kid!" she said mocking.
"I am hungry," Tristan broken in putting his arms arm Rory's waist.
"You seem to always be hungry," Alyssa joked.
"I am though!" he said.
"Now that you mention it, I am really hungry too!" Alyssa laughed.
"SEE!" Trsitan said.
"Ror, we need to hurry!" Alyssa said.
"Yeah because these 2 are getting really to have puppy treats," Hunter joked.
"Ha Ha, you're sooooooooooo funny," Alyssa said sacrtacticly.
