The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

I love that poem! grasshopper by e.e. cummings (The format won't be right, sorry) r-p-o-p-h-e-s-s-a-g-r who a)s w(e loo)k upnowgath PPEGORHRASS eringint(o-' aThe):l eA !p: S a rIvInG .gRrEaPsPhOs to rea(be)rran(com)gi(e)ngly ,grasshopper; Its even cooler when its spaced properly lol The Negro Speaks Of Rivers by Langston Hughes I've known rivers: I've known rivers ancient as the world and older than the flow of human blood in human veins. My soul has grown deep like the rivers. I bathed in the Euphrates when dawns were young. I built my hut near the Congo and it lulled me to sleep. I looked upon the Nile and raised the pyramids above it. I heard the singing of the Mississippi when Abe Lincoln went to New Orleans, and I've seen its muddy bosom turn all golden in the sunset. I've known rivers: Ancient, dusky rivers. My soul has grown deep like the rivers. ~*Susie*

Poetry, a passion of mine.
The Depth of Love
Though I may be of such simplicity, I am yet even more perplexing. I am made up of such indifferent character, I know not the beauty of elegance nor the depth of love which is untold. I merely know that I will pass thru life with every hope of becoming a persons who's love is as radiant as the sun, and who's beauty is not measured by outside flaws but the beauty of one's heart. And this is what I will inspire to be.
Life, as I know it My life is a desolate mess with no form of happiness. Each day is like a hundred years, each night is filled with so many tears. Each day of more afflictions I hope to find a solace somewhere, But there is not one in the world that does even care if I were alive or dead. By each more and passing second such sweet haltered fills inside me, for those around me. Those who make my life a pit of gloom and despair.
Ever Existing Our trials are ever there, our problems are ever existing, our failures are ever mutlipying, and... our God is ever present. Our dying world knows not the love of God, which is everlasting.
Keep Going Life will continually keep going, Although you may wish it not. Life will challenge you to keep living, Although you rather not. Life might change you, Although you may be worse off. Life will constantly keep changing, Although you may not. Life will hurt and help you, Although you deserve it not. Life will be what it will be, So just try to be happy.
A Reason My hope is unfathomable, so deep within. Such yearning desire, I most hold in. If only I had a reason, so that I may begin. But before I know it, I have come to my desperate end.
The Ability As we are each born we posses a blessing that is disregarded and dismissed. We are given this change, to be driven and to make a stance.
We have at our hands something millions wish they can.
A freedom to say what we feel, the freedom to spread what is real.
And yet we do nothing, to afraid to say something.
As we wait though our time is almost though.
So make a change, tell someone about God today.
Faces of Loves She looked at me in solemn horror like no one had before, when I asked her tot take my hand and honor me forever. Her lips moved so swiftly, so surely when she told me she loved another. How could this be when I lover her so very deeply.
Her words pierced the depths of my heart, I stepped back in disbelief. She tried to stay and comfort me but yet I had to leave. I went to a quit place where I could think a while, then I realized that I was all alone in the world.
Love has many faces which I have know, but this love has changed me forever. I will never be the same in any way, except that I will love her forever. Tell me if you liked any of those. ~Jules

I love to write! Awesome Job Susie! I loved them! Robert Frost is one of my faves! lol um this is one of my fave peoms that I have writen.. The Night We Danced The night we dance. It felt like heaven, In your arms, So safe and warm. The night we danced, It seemed, you and me, together forever. The night we danced, I knew it had to end. Dances don't last forever. And at it's ending you walked away. Out the door, Out of the light, I just stood there all night. Then I knew The night we danced Was only a night. tell me what you think... Ill post some more..

I'm too shallow for poetry. You know poems I like? Anything by Shel Silverstein. I think that was his name.
