i dunno, i'm too worried, but i'm gonna delete KAzaa pretty soon although that totally sucks. because there are alot of cool bands that dont get much radio exposure and thus i dont hear of them. speaking of cool bands, susie have you heard that band rooney?

You didnt see The Princess Diaries? Go rent it! Michael Moscovitz is played by the lead singer from Rooney! And Rooney is the garage band! The Aquabats are a ska band a friend of mine introduced me to.

Ska music is a genre of music thats "alternative", I suppose. Bands like Reel Big Fish and Five Iron Frenzy play ska too. Ska bands have like drums, bass guitar, guitar, singer, alto/tenor sax, trombone and trumpet. So basically its like a punk band, with a horn section.

hmm cool, i feel enlightened, ok and now fill me in on what is meant by indie. or any other kinda genres i wouldnt know of. cuz the thing is i love almost all music so i'm open to anything, but i'm not exposed to it in the first place so i never can tell if i like.

Ive always been a little thrown off by the term indie. I dont know, Ive basically thought that indie was just a very non-mainstream thing. Like indie rock, Im not really sure though.
