I read a fic once that had Michel working as the Materdee in a French restaraunt. His excuse was that he was not paid enough at the inn to afford his wardobe. I was wondering, is it possible that Michel is hiding something, we know so little about him, and what's ^ with Kirk and his inumerable jobs?  Cheesy Jr. |

My guess is that he comes from money - his family might be as wealthy as Richard and Emily (since he was born and raised in Paris) - why on earth he'd end up in Stars Hollow is strange, but he doesn't seem to want to leave any time soon!  As far as Kirk and all his jobs, I think they moved him around a bit at first just to see where he could fit in as a regular townsperson, but I think ASP must now just get a kick out of moving him into so many positions! ;D |

Hmm, I disagree with your theory on Michel. I think if he had really rich parents, they would support him just to prevent the humiliation of seeing him work in an inn as the concierge type person, and I think he would do his best to suck up to them and get money just to keep his lifestyle going. I doubt he'd be employed under a woman that he seems to highly detest if he wasn't obligated, but I guess we'll find out soon enough... CJ |

She seemed rich, and incredibly strange, but I still don't get why Michel is working at the inn. I guess we'll find out sometime or another, apparently he didn't even tell her why he moved to the US in the first place...and it seems there wasn't much Luke, sadly enough. I thought Michel & his mom very funny but wierd also. It was nice to see him happy. Like we he needed to dance, I liked that also (at Lorelai's Bachlorette Party).

I loved the scene with Michel dancing too! ;D
And how about when Rune was dusting the picture frames during the Bracebridge dinner and Michel yelled at him - that was SOOOO funny.
...and when he was weighing his turkey and made that comment about living forever...
He just cracks me up!
