[glow=red,2,300] Im really curious about what Ive heard about Jess' spinoff with his dad. I also heard that we may have a Tris revival, or Chad wouldnt be opposed to it. However, sources are hard to show reliability, and you can never be sure until you see it. Im just wondering what info the rest of you guys have heard. ~*Susie*[/glow]

I posted this at the spoilers forum--
Poor Rory Gilmore. Just as she's finally admitted her true feelings for Stars Hollow's resident bad boy, Jess, and dumped first love Dean in order to be with him, she's about to get her heart broken all over again.
Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Jess, will be getting his own spin-off in the form of a new one-hour series on The WB. Like "Gilmore Girls," the currently untitled project will be created and helmed by Amy Sherman-Palladino and will revolve around Jess and his estranged father's relationship.
"It's the story of Jess' reconnection with the father he barely knows, and how his life will change after high school," Sherman-Palladino says. "The fast pace and the comedy/drama mix of the series will be similar to 'Gilmore Girls,' but there will be a lot less skirts."
The WB already has one hour show that heavily depends on the father/son dynamic -- "Everwood." However, Sherman-Palladino says the premises are nothing alike. Whereas "Everwood" is about a father and son reconnecting, this new show will be about a father and son who for all practical purposes have never met or have any shared history -- the flip side to Rory and Lorelai's super close bond on "Gilmore Girls."
Previously, The WB has had sucess with a spin-off in the form of "Angel." The characters of Angel, Cordelia and Wesley all were part of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" first.
Barring a sudden network hop though, both "Gilmore Girls" and Ventimiglia's new show will remain on the same one, allowing for many cross-over possibilities.
The character of Jess' father will be introduced in two upcoming episodes of "Gilmore Girls" later this season. The role has not yet been cast.
It's definitely happening. The WB has ordered 6 episodes.
Straight outta left field huh?
