[glow=blue,2,300]And during the Olympics, it was Michelle this and Michelle that. It irritated me, probably only because I am a Sasha Fan persoanlly. [/glow]

Michelle Kwan? Highly overrated. It just gets tiring, she gets too much attention. I liked Sarah Hughes and I'm really glad she got the gold but even then Michelle got the attention!

[glow=blue,2,300]By the end of the Olympics, i was sick of the Word Michelle. I too like Sarah, I was hoping Sasha would get Gold and Sarah Silver, but I am happy about Sarah winning [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300] I hope Sasha fades out before 2006. I may be the lone stater of this but she has the worst attitude. And the only reason she won silver is because she had to so Sarah could win gold. The sad truth of figure skating judging. Their biased, they suck and they have no taste. Michelle Kwan deserved that silver medal but she had it sacrificed so Sarah could win gold. I understand it, but Sasha getting silver was just a biproduct of that. She didnt deserve it. Shes exactly like Tara Lipinski, who I hated also. ~*Susie*[/glow]

But Sasha didn't win the silver. A russian skater won and Michelle got Bronze. For one, sorry but Michelle skated terribly in that last program. She fell and didn't make all of her jumps. The Russian skated cleaner, but she almost fell. Sarah, on the other hand, did not fall, she made all her jumps (including the triple-triple jump she's famous for), and she had style. She deserved to wim the medle and giving it to Michelle or anyone else would have been pity. The minute Michelle fell, she kissed the gold goodbye. Michelle deserved what she got. She can't expect to win the silver when the russian girl who skated after her doesn't fall and when Sarah skates a prefect program.

[glow=red,2,300] Ahh yes. My brains failing me. Not like I care so much anymore. Women's competitve figure skating has become horrible. I have little appreciation for many of them. I love Sarah Hughes, shes absolutely amazing. Michelle Kwan deserves everything shes gotten, good or bad. Shes had such an amazing career. But the people you look up to and respect, very few exist anymore. People like Dorothy Hammil, Peggy Flemming, Kristi Yamaguchi, etc... In all reality, all figure skating has suffered greatly. There were a few generations of terrific skaters, and all we have left is a generation of young stars who win one major title and go pro. For some of them, such as Sale and Pelletier, its an amazing move. For others, its not so great. Lol. I have strong convictions about the evilness figure skating has become. ~*Susie*[/glow]

Exactly! There aren't many skaters I respect. Sarah is one of a few as well as Michelle but no one can say she deserved the gold. Kristi Yamaguchi is one of my favorites. So talented!

[glow=blue,2,300]I do like Sarah Hughes, and I am a major Sasha fan because I admire her Attidute. She is not Intimidated by big important people, and seems to have a lot of Self Confidence. I am happy Sarah won but, I mean, if Sasha coudln't have won, I am glad it was Sarah. And I really like Sale & Pelletier as well ;D[/glow]
