Okay third week of January is the first Jess episode of the season!!! Thought I would let everyone know.
and as for the episode Mary, you might want to try to download it from a P2P or maybe read through a transcript or something...since I don't think that they are going to show season 2's episodes in reruns

Episode Twelve:
Airs 1.27.04
Lorelai and Rory are coming back from Friday night dinner at the elder Gilmores' house. Rory is driving and plans to stay in Stars Hollow for the weekend.
Luke discovers that the car Jess bought is gone and reports it stolen. The police come into his diner and tell him that they found the car, which had broken down on the freeway, and the guy who was driving it. However, there's nothing they can do, because according to the (expired) registration, the guy's the legal owner: Jess Mariano. They've brought the car and Jess back to the diner, since it looked like a family matter. Neither Jess or Luke are very happy about this situation. Jess tells Luke that this wasn't his idea; he just came to retrieve his property. After the cops leave, Luke and Jess tell each other that they've got a lot of nerve.
Luke gets protective of Rory.
Rory sees Jess (he doesn't see her). She says she can't deal with it and goes home.
Lorelai and Jason are still together. She takes him furniture shopping. She goes to tell Emily about them, but can't do it.
Liz, Jess's mother, shows up at the end of the episode

Jess: Jess is coming back to Stars Hollow in episode 12. He'll be on the show for three episodes.
Dean: Dean is coming back sometime soon for six episodes. He'll definitely be in the last two episodes of the season
