[glow=red,2,300] Like Id be mad Abby? Ive been known to have self-proclaimed, although Im sure others would agree, titles of 'Ice Queen', 'Resident Bitch' and 'Sarcastic Slut'. So I highly doubt Ill be offended by that. I dont get offended that guys are shallow about girls, some girls are about guys too. But since not all girls are shallow, that has to provide some home that not all guys are either. And you know what, they'll mature, some day, way too far from now.

I am a lazy cow so I didnt sign-in. Then when I tried to post it said that Paris was already taken (BY ME!).. So it made all my wonderful typing about self-deprication go bye-bye!! I didnt write as much as usual... but I had smart things to say and I had some bad qualities... anyways.. lets walk on the sunny side of the street...

Yeah, I love that song too. My friend actually wrote it in her away message for her aim... ahhh, the wonders of cut and paste. What have you all been up to? I am going to go to BUMPERSHOOT on Sunday and Monday!! Everlast is playing on Sunday! YAY! Anybody else going? I mean there has to be somebody else that is going to one of the best festival during summer in Seattle. Another good festival is the Burning Man. That was in California on the beach... but I think that they moved it to Arizona or something... but I could be totally wrong. A guy created the Burning Man completly not on pupose. I mean he was pissed and sad thar his girlie broke it off with him.. so he took all her stuff and burned it on the beach. Every year since then they builed a huge wood man and for like 4 days play really good music in the middle of the desert and on the last day (I think) they burn it...
There I go. I think I have gotten my spunk for typing back. I sure can feel the calories burning... IN MY FINGERS!!

hey all. I don't find Rory's character unrealistic at all or the fact that she has hott guys chasing after her. My group of friends are kinda Rory like, in the fact that we're into are studies and want to go to a top name school, yet have a solid group of friends who we can hang out with after school and on the weekends. it's a common balance. In fact, some of my "rory-like" friends have relationships like Dean and Rory (pre-Jess that is). and the other fact, about how rory has a lot of guys after her, some of my friends have be asked out on dates and to homecoming and to prom more than some of the "prettiest" girls in school. so i'm just saying, so think that the "smart" or "studious" girls will never have guys after them. it is possible.
anyway, that's just my opinion on rory, the studious girl, having numerous hott guys after her. later

well yeah i do agree with you in a sense that there are guys that want studious girls, its just the way rory is protraid with all those guys and her kissing someone else it just doesn't really match with her personality and everything.....did that make sense?

But that's the thing...the writers created Rory, therefore, all her acts are aspects of her character/personality. In the first season we saw Rory as just studious in this new relationship...then last season we saw her react to having a new guy she was attracted to come to town while she still had a boyfriend. Lorelai had never seen Rory act this way so she got angry and said that it wasn't her. And yeah maybe Rory isn't being the best person but that's the way she's dealing with the situation....and Rory has never had more than 2 guys fighting over her....relax trories I'm not saying Tristan is nonexistent so pull back the claws.
What I'm saying is that in the first season she had two guys, Dean and Tristan. However, we never saw much Tristan/ Dean interraction. So mostly she was dealing with this new relationship and her sparring with Tristan which didn't occur very often. So there wasn't too much fighting over the studious girl and I think that someone made an important point....if a girl is pretty enough and has a special air that's attractive ...guys will grovel to
her.
second season...once again two guys Jess and Dean...Tris was only in one eppy. We saw a lot more fighting over her...it happens guys can fight over one girl.
Plus I think many girls on the board are just very angry at Rory either for Jess reasons or Dean...poor Rory...I'm just mad right now still think your great though, lol

Hey you guys!! I missed you all. SO sorry I havent written in like forever (like you guys even noticed). I have moved to Port Orchard (bummer!) and that makes it majorly difficult to have my fun Seattle times. Anyway, I think that Alexis's charaters is realistic, but "Rory's" of this world arent in mass quantity, especially in Port Orchard. This new season thing is irking. I still love the show, but things seem to be going so SLOW because nothing with Rory is really happening. LANE LOOKED SO AWESOME WITH PURPLE HAIR!!! Sorry, just had to get that out of my system. And the guy that Lane likes is WAY hot. Him and Chad are like my secret agent lover men. Well, just to say that I have been thinking about the board when I was away from my comp. Later guys!

I think that Rory should go to Yale and that Tristan should be there! I also think that Paris should go to Yale also and Rory and Paris could be roommates. Then, after that, Paris would end up dating Tristan's roommate. So Tristan and Rory spend a lot of time together! They eventually get together! I would love for it to turn out like that! But Chad has his own TV show coming out which I am fully excited about!  |
