(That's fine, Rory's just been a mime for the past page or two, no biggie. ;-)
ok, incredibly confused at the moment, but that's okay)
Jess came back from the kitchen, noticed Tristan and Rory left...Paris still drinking tea, and Dean standing at the counter entirely confused. "Damn, I must have forgotten it was two for one day at the shoe store." he said sarcastically trying to rationalize the sudden disappearance of Rory and Tristan "And no one even asked if I needed anything." he added a second later.

"Don't worry," Jess said to Paris, "I'm sure they'll be back, Rory never leaves even a drop of coffee behind." He motioned to the cup sitting two stools down from Paris.

"Hey Paris let's go!" Rory stuck her head back inside Luke's,"I think Tristan actually want to get to school." She grinned and grabbed a cup of coffee and left again. Noticing Paris' infatuated expression at Jess.

Jess couldn't help but smile at the whole conversation. "I'm beginning to wonder what Luke is putting into that coffee." Jess said giving Paris a quick smile. "Seems to be making what were once semi-rational people lose their minds. Or rather mind, since I doubt Tristan ever had a rational thought in his life." A strange look passed over Jess's face and an instant later it was gone.
