"Well alright then, how about we take him to the hospital and get him checked out, he doesnt look so good." Lorelai said while looking around for conformation. She then immediately remembered something, "Shoot, I let Sookie take the car because she had to go to a convention somewhere and her car wouldnt start this morning." With a pleading look directed towards Luke she whined, "Can you drive him, we'll come, please??"

"Me? Why me?" Luke started to ask...  until Alyssa interupted him.  "An ambulance is suppost to be coming," she said, "I have no idea where they are tho," alyssa said looked around to try and see if she saw anyone.  "Where are they, I don't know...." she trailed off.

Lorelai "Where the heck is the damn ambulance?!!? Calm Lorelai, calm. its going to be fine, Max will be alright. its not your fault hes here and that hes lying on the pavement with an ice pack." She started by screaming, then while breathing deeply she began coaching herself.

"Lorelai, i think you should sit down too..."  Alyssa said to her, "maybe we should get you an ice pack also."  Just then they hear the ambulance.  "finally Alyssa said.  

The EMT got out and ran over to Max.  "Thank God that no one was dieing or else I'm sure they'd be dead." alyssa said to the guy.  "What were you doing? Driving Ms. Dasiy?!" she said to him and they started to put max on the strecher.  
The kid looked at her "You talk a lot," he said.
"And your slow," alyssa shot back.  He smiled at her, "I think you need to leave now." she said to him, he winked at her and climb into the ambulance.  "Come on Luke lets go."  Alyssa said grabbing Rory's hand.

The quintet piled into Lukes beat up green truck, and sped off to the Hartford hospital. Although Lorelai hardly felt as though they were speeding anywhere, speed in Lukes truck was like 40 miles an hour!

"Come on Luke let me drive!" Alyssa said to him.
"No," Luke replied back.
"Pull Over," she said.
"No," he said back to her.
She started to shake his seat, "Were never gonna get there!" she said with a loud sigh.  "My blind grandmother drives faster than you!"
"That's because she can't see how fast she's goin," Luke said to her in a matter-of-fact tone.
"No... It's because she doesn't care.  Come on were be in this thing forever at this rate!" she wined.
"We'll get there," he said.
"Hopefully before my 99th birthday," alyssa said shaking her head at him, "although i think it's gonna be a close one."
"I'm gonna pull this car over," he said to her.
"Good then I'll drive."
"Your impossible," Luke said to her.
"No that would be you, grandpop,"she said as they neared the hospitle.

"Luke-suggestion-get a bigger car!" ROry said, shaking out her limbs, which were in very unexplainable positions while she sat in the car. "We are definitely taking a cab back"

Alyssa giggled.  
"I don't need another car," Luke stated, mine is fine.
"Keep telling yourself that," Alyssa said as she patted Luke on the back.

"Hi, we're here to see Max Medina--he was just brought in. Well, we arent immediate family, but my mom dated him for a while, and almost married him, but then she saw that she didn't love him so she called it off. And he is my teacher, he teaches english at Chilton, a school like right down the street fr-what do you mean we cant see him---he crashed his car right outside the market in Stars Hollow, right in fornt of my eyes. We are so gonna see him---no you dork dont call security" Rory said to the secretary at the desk.

Alyssa steped up to the desk, nicely took the phone out of the women's hand and hung it up, "Please excuse my friend here she's a little shakin up, I'm Alyssa," she asid sweetly, "We really need to see Max," she paused.
"Only imediate family," the women said.
"Well that's not a problem, he's my stepfather," Alyssa said.
"Um.. Hmm.." the lady said not seeming to buy it.
"Yes, that's right.  So you see you need to let us see him," Alyssa said shaking the womens hand and slipping her a 100 dollar bill.  The women looked in her hand, Alyssa leaned over and said a little something for being so helpful.  The women shock her hand.
"Hey there you are!" a voice came, everyone turned around to see who it was.  
"Oh Lord," Alyssa said.
"I knew you miss me," said the EMT who took Max here.
"Riiiiiight," alyssa said to him.
He smiled, "Follow me."  and with that they were all on there way to see Max everyone except---
"I think I'll just wait here," Luke said.
"Oh Uncle Luke, you have to come," Alyssa said pulling him along.
"How do I get myself into these things," he asked himself out loud.
"Just lucky i guess," alyssa answered for him.

"Wait--immediat family only!They cannot go in!" Te stupid secretary cried after them. Rory turned, irritated. The others stopped behind her.
"How many tiems do i have to tell you--we are related. Allysa is his stepdaughter, i am his niece, my mom dated him for a while, my father is his brother, Luek is his cousin, and Dean is Allysa's son." Rory said before leading the group through the doors the EMT disappeared through

as Max was lying in the bed, he couldn't help thinking how nosy Rory's friend was. "She's really politician material" he thought to himself.
he heard a commotion outside his door. Knowing what he is about to face, he quickly turned over to the other side and pretended to sleep.

"Well, he must be asleep" Turning to the heart monitor that was showing a steady pattern, Lorelai sighed, "At least he's alive." Then turning to Alyssa, she stated: Your good, I cant believe you rattled off that entire story that fast, you are officially a member of our family, anyone who can talk that fast is good enough to be a Gilmore, ask them." She said, while turning and pointing to Dean and Luke. "Especially Luke, hes heard us beg for coffee, everyday for years"

Aw thanks Lorelai!" Alyssa said to her as she hugged her.  "That really means a lot to me.  But I must say, Rory over here did agreat job too!" she smiled at her.  "Dean being my son thats definatly gonna be a classic." she laughed.  Then she looked at Max, he wasn;t a sleep this she knew for sure,  "Oh stepfather," she beckoned.  "Wake up your dear family is her to see and your loving grandson." she winked at dean.

When Max jerked up, Lorelai turned to Alyssa, "Its not nice to tease the injured. Besides I dont think he would appreciate his grandson's nickname too much." Lorelai said with a chuckle.
