Alyssa looked over at Rory and saw the discomfort, "Dude, I'm telling you hit your head mad hard, because no one said anything about a 'thing'." Alyssa said.
Luke walked over with the ice and handed it to Alyssa, "I believe you asked for this." he said.
"Yes, Thank you," she said smiling. She put her free hand behind Max's neck and put the ice on his forehead. "Now hold that there." she said.

Max got up. He looked around, as if searching for something.

"Ice tends to be cold," Alyssa said. "Are you sure your a teacher?" ALyssa asked, yet again trying to get ROry off the hook. Alyssa didn't see Lorelei and she was almost sure that Rory didn't really want to talk about her mother with the whole town watching... then again she could be wrong...

in an attempt to be more practical Dean said "Rory, why don't you go call your mom.. it seems she'll be a little more helpful here..Everyone else - you can just go on as you were.. the guy crashed his car..ok, you've had your fun. Now it's all over." as he waved his hands like a cop on an athurity-high

Max stood up with half a cracked smile on his face and with a cracking voice he said "Hello Lorelai..", while throwing another look at the cracked front of his car smashed aginst the cracked telephone pole. he suddenly had a strange desire for some crackerjacks.. *sorry, I'm way to tired right now  |

In disbelief Lorelai stared and finally managed to say.."Max?Wh..How..Why..ice..car..pole...bad...what happened here?" She finally stated, directing the question to Rory, Alyssa and Dean considering Max didnt seem to be in good enough condition to answer. ~*Susie* |

Lorelai took in this information and immediately opened her mouth to get more information "As ingenious as the idea of a car-phone-pole is, why was he out this way anyways? Chilton's in Hartford, we're the wrong way from Chilton to his apartment. And where'd he get the ice from? How long ago did this happen?" Lorelai started rattling of a slew of questions like some crazy poilce investigator. ~*Susie* |

"Well, he says that he was 'in the area'," Alyssa chimed in. "I made Luke get him the ice. It was about 15 minutes ago, i think." Alyssa said look at Dean and Rory.

"Wait a minute! Luke almost punched him? No WAY, Luke is such a softie." Alyssa said.
"Hey, watch it, or no more floats," Luke said.
"Sorry!" Alyssa said to him. Alyssa looked at Rory who hadn;t said a work since her mother showed up, "Um... Actually Rory was just about to call you." Alyssa said finally to Lorelai.
