i know but it is soooo hard to let go AND i dont want to date him i just want to be his friend and god we have SUCH a history he knows everything there is to know about me and its just impossible for me to let go!

Im sorry, Abby. I dont think thats an easy situation for any of you. Just try to be friendly to him, but dont push it too hard. Hopefully, he'll come around. If not, you're better off without him.
