His stay at the Inn had been one of the most comfortable and memorable experiences of his life. The simpleness and quaintness of the Independence Inn reminded him of Rory, and while it threw his hormones into overdrive, it also, ironically, gave him peace. He didn't know where or when, but he did know he and Rory Gilmore were going to meet...again

"Independence Inn," Rory answered the constant ringing phone. Her first day at work, no sign of Tristan, and Michel seemed to think he was her boss. When she'd agreed to take the job at the Inn 3 days earlier she hadn't expected so much stress. Now, 9:00 in the morning, she'd already booked 4 rooms. Exhausted, she rested her head on the counter.
"RIIIIIIIIING"
"Independence Inn," she said respectively.
"Good morning, this is room 206, I was wondering if some extra towels could be brought to the room," a male voice responded.
"As you wish," she replied hanging up and grabbing some towels hoping Michel would be around to take any calls that came in while she delivered the towels.
Making her way up the stairs, Rory glanced at the Inn and some of the burnt remains of the elctrical fire they'd had a month or so ago. Though, they were getting a new Inn, this one was so beautiful and original. Smiling, she mde her way to room 206.
Knocking, she said," Towels."
She heard the door open and turned to see... Tristan.
She gasped and stood rigid.
He too was astonished. The maid he'd talked to on the phone had sounded so sophisticated. There she was though, Rory Gilmore, looking more radiant than ever.
Rory's initial shock ended and smiling she flung herself into his arms.
"Well, Tristan DuGrey, fancy meeting you here," she smiled.
"I could say the same thing Ms. Gilmore."
"Please, that sounds so...old."
Tristan grinned and brought Rory out of his hold to look at her.
"You look fantastic." He commented, truthfully.
Rory thanked him, and said," Nice hair." His just roled out of bed hair was gone. The gelled look did wonders for his eyes and his hair looked b l o n d er, though in no way bleached.
He was more self confident, but not in a conceited way.
His black t-shirt and well-fitting jeans accented his now lean and taught muscles. Rory thought, he looked more handosme than she'd ever seen him before, more grown up, and...attractive.

From the moment he'd opened the door his heart had been doing this odd flip flop thing only Rroy could produce. His breathing quickened as he took her all in. The eyes that for so long had held only hatred and annoyance, now had a different sparkle to them, one Tristan couldn't quite place.
She looked amazing, even more beautiful than he remembered and he told her so. She was so intriguing in each and every way. This time Tristan swore not to mess this up.
