[glow=red,2,300] My semester finals counted for 20% of my semester grade, Lauren. Thats really not that bad if yours are only 10.

No, 10% of my final grade in each class... like for the whole year... and considering that each marking period counts for 20% each and then finals are another 10%... well... it might not sound huge... but it makes a difference... and if we don't do well on midterms, it's hard to get into good classes for next year because the week after midterms the teachers and guidance counselors and everyone meet with each of us about placement...

I'm not sure how much they count for but i remember my boi test last time counted for 10 percent and that was just the end of the book(we have a different book for each "topic" thing, like one for DNA and then another one for biomolecules and stuff) i don't even want to begin to image what the semester final would be worth

Its soooo cold here! I had to walk home from school today and we wear skirts and I didn't wear any long pants under them only shorts and then my legs were bright red when I got home as was my face. lol it looked like I had a sunburn.  |

ok like i have 4 quarters, but they divide it into two semesters....so like each semester is big, but the quarters arent as big.....but like midterms count for 20% of our semester grade, and then finals for the 2nd semester....and like in my school, there is so much room to move around,.....we have phases, 2-5 (2 lowest 5 highest) and like anywhere during the year, you can change phases....now that like changes your entire schedule, but it is still very easy to get it to happen..... AND IT IS FREEZING HERE! lol.....i got out of the car, and our uniform is like a blue dress with peter pan white collar, and i had sweats on underneath, and we wear saddle shoes, so we leave our saddles in our lockers and wear tennis shoes home....so like i have tennis shoes, and you can see my blue tights underneath like btwn my shoes and my sweats cuz like they came up when i got out of the car and i had my sweats and my uniform and stuff, and this public school girl walks down the street from the bus and looks at me like i have three heads....lol but it is FREEZING here.... and get this....ok i had exams last week and so today was our conflict day, for if you miss a day or soimething, so my county was off for non-existent snow today, and i had off anyway, so my friends and i had a sleepover. Well my county was off, but my school said listen for there announcement during exam week cuz they wouldnt give us off  so my bros school has off monday now cuz they hafta move conflict day.....but i dont....it sucks |

lol... Ok... It is freakin cold!!! Yesterday was the first day in 12 days that the temperature went above 20 degrees... and it only made it to 22... oh, and then it's been really windy, so with the wind, it's been like 5 degrees below zero most days... it's very pleasant...  lol I'm just annoyed cuz if it's gonna be so damn cold it could at least snow to keep me happy! ~*~Laur~*~ |

geez! its like half of that here! although its not snowing, which is good since its not that cold but i want it to snow

lol... i wish it was warm here! ahhh i think it was -12 degrees here the other day... luckily i was sick and i wasn't allowed to go outside... hehe but all my friends had to got ot school and bear the cold weather... hahahaaha... am i really evil if im laughing at my friends because they are freezing? lol |

LOL... It's alright, I was laughing at my friend the other day cuz she was freezing and her bus was late so she was standing there in the cold...
