I'm really confused about the whole paragraph thing. What am I supposed to write in it? Am I supposed to write why I want to play that character or what?

Coleen- I'm pretty sure that the paragraph is an example of what you think the character might say and do. It's showing an example of how well you can grasp the personality of that particular character and your writing abilities. You're basically just giving us a sample scene. Make sense?

DEAN: I know LANE: What are you gonna get her DEAN: I was thinking... maybe a football? (Lane stops walking and stares at dean. Dean puts up his hands and smiles) DEAN: Kidding, Kidding. Really though, I'm not too sure. Guys aren't good at this stuff. LANE: What are guys good at? DEAN: We can take out the garbage with the best of em... And don't forget those manly, indistiguishable grunts that show up around half time of the super bowl LANE: Sounds to me like you've got your college app. right there... Hey, I have to go. My mom caught Rory and I drinking coffee at Lukes, and she freaked out. She thinks I'm in my bedroom praying for forgiveness.
