Alright, well because I am the wedding planner (Susie... Matty! hehe Sorry, just had to say that... everyone else, don't ask)... and Sara was curious too... we just wanted some idea of traditions for weddings that we can use.
For example, Ruby already said that she wants to use some Hindu traditions since that is her religion. And I was remembering this tradition where at the reception the bride dances w/ the best man of her husband. So yeah... any traditions you can think of that we should use... just post here...
Oh, and there's no need for formality... this is kinda my thread and you know how I dislike it when I can't ramble on aimlessly so I won't prohibit all of you from doing that either... ~*~JJ Laur~*~

[glow=red,2,300] For the 26th time Shell, dont bring Chad! Bring David. Chad has his own invitation. Besides, Marias gonna take him when she isnt keeping Milo busy. Lol. And damnit Lauren, Matty! Lol. Can we do the Jewish plate-smashing one? Hehe. ~*Susie*[/glow]

Uuummm...There's the rice throwing at the church (or wherever you guys are having it), the speeches, the cake cutting, and when we have the dancing it's usually the bride and groom first, and then the maids of honour and the bridesmaids also dance too. And the plate throwing is Greek, i know because we do it at weddings, and it's majorly fun! Umm...that's all i can think of at the moment.

yea and also instead of rice now sometimes they use bubbles (bc when the birdies eat the rice it expans in thier stomachs and tehy blow up! hehe) But bubbles are very pretty!!! lol Oh and you have the bride and groom dance then towards the end the others join in (like someone said) Then Father of the Bride Dance(father/daughter). and Mother of the Groom Dance (mother/son).. I'll think of somemore. Oh and the rhyme that each bride has to have... Something old, Something New, Something Barrowed, and Something Blue. hehe *~AJ~*

[glow=red,2,300] Lol. I guessed about the plate-smashing one. I saw it in 'The Wedding Planner'. Lol. It looked like so much fun though. Ooh, you know the one where the bride and groom both sit in chairs and they get like passed around, lol, sounds fun! ~*Susie*[/glow]
