I hate how he was trying to be so over protective of Rory...come on now Lorelai has done her job and raised Rory, she is grown up, she didn't need someone to be her keeper....I just didn't like how  just wanted to come in take over |

i felt that it should be known that, yes, his hair is actually styled like that outside of the Gilmore Girl residents.
no, it wasn't a character choice.
I was recently flipping through channels when i saw him...big hair, tonsss of hair gel and all.
but of course we could always say it's his movie persona.
