becuase then all the world would be stupid and we wouldnt have people like doctors and surgeons and people and that would suck. so we must endure the pain that is school.

yes but if only the people who wanted to learn and enjoyed school went then the people who became doctors and scientists and gov't officials and whatever would be the educated people who actually wanted to do what they were doing...unlike a lot of people that end up in joyless, thankless jobs...and as for the whole hating school thing...I hate school, but I love the learning/challenging aspects...so if we could destroy the institution and do nationwide independent study I would be a happy camper (now runs to hide under a rock b/c everyone is going to think I'm insane)
