hehe, well at least our guy stayed on for more than a season and brought back to finally get rid of him in the second season! Dean's the only "Rory's guy" that's lasted for 3 seasons. Woo-hoo! ;D

Lets just agree to disagree huh? (again! ). It would be interesting if we found out Tristan had a job (if he stayed on the show). But ya know, we haven't really gotten to know any of Rory's loves/admirers...except for Jess. Dean was always "Rory's first boyfriend" and Tristan was "The rich guy that wanted her". I wonder why they did that. And we don't even know much about Jess really. I tell you what would be really cool this season...if they brought Jess's mum on the show. It would create so much drama!! - Maria hehe exactly! we really don't know any of them to well! But yeah lets just agree to diagree like always

stress on the spoiled brats...I'm not saying all rich kids are jerks. The difference, which you would know if you bothered to get what I was trying to say, is that Tristan is conceited because of his money. Whereas Lorelai struggled to get away from it. Yeah there's a difference.
Maria, more often than not teenagers work because either they need to or because they want to buy stuff for themselves. I never said Dean was starving, but he does work to buy things he wants and/or needs. Jess got a job to buy a car. He isn't starving either. But I'll stand by my statement I'd rather be with someone who works for what he wants than someone who has everything ( material wise) that he wants and still wants more and is a jerk about it.

Whats wrong with the Whole Prep Boy Image?? And nothing wrong with Spoilt Rich Kids! -Kelly
A lot is wrong. That personality lacks real substance. But whatever, I'd rather have someone who works hard for what he gets i.e. Dean or even Jess, who in the next new eppy we find out works at a Wal-Mart to buy his car, than a brat that has everything given to him.

Episode 3.9: A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving, Airs 11.26.02 Written By: Daniel Palladino[/I] Lorelai and Rory go to four different Thanksgiving dinners; one at the Kim's, one at the elder Gilmore's, one at Sookie and Jackson's, and one at Luke's. Lorelai suggested skipping the one at Luke (he gets a little miffed when he finds this out), but Rory points out that Luke always waits for them to eat, etc., so then they decide to make it their last stop. The dinners at the Kim's and Sookie and Jackson's are hilarious.
Lane and Dave kiss. It's really sweet.
Rory and Jess are kissing out in the open in front of the flower shop near the market and Rory freaks because she fears that Dean will see them. Jess jokes around but tries to reassure her that everything is ok.
Later after the dinner at the diner is over, Jess is helping Luke clean up and when he goes out to dump the trash, Dean confronts him and wants to fight. No fight takes place, just a confrontation.
Luke talks to Lorelai, telling her that he laid down the law with Jess regarding Rory. Lorelai then tells Luke that Rory and Jess are with each other at that moment, which Luke didn't know, so he freaks out a bit. Rory and Jess sort of snuck out to see each other. It's a funny scene.
Episode 3.10: Movin' In And Movin' On Airs 12.03.02 It's Richard's 60th birthday and his mother comes back into town, announcing that she's moving back. Lorelai teaches Emily how to handle her mother in law.
Dean brings back some of Rory's things.
Rory and Dean have coffee (not at Luke's), trying to be friends.
There is more tension with the Puffs and Francie at Chilton.
There's a winter carnival. Jess isn't going to go to the carnival until Rory runs into Dean and Clara (Dean's sister), and then he decides to join them.
Jess and Dean get into another argument about Dean trying to get back in Rory's life. No fists though. Jess isn't really jealous, just wondering what Dean's trying to do. It's more like Jess is very aware of how he got Rory and he doesn't want to lose her the same way. He actually plays it pretty cool with Rory.

They Shoot Gilmores, Don't They? Episode 3.7 Airs 11.12.02 The title refers to an old movie called, "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" which was about a dance marathon.
Stars Hollow has an annual dance marathon. Lorelai is desperate to beat Kirk this year so she searches for a partner. She ends up convincing Rory to be hers after her partner's wife sees her and makes him pull out.
Paris has a date with Jamie. He comes to Chilton and tells her he couldn't stop thinking about her.
Dave comes and butters up to Lane's mom by eating one of her healthy sandwiches (that everyone else practically spits out). He arranges to see Lane later.
Rory and Dean are at the marathon. Jess and Shane show up and he just stares at Rory. Later, Lorelai has to get her shoe fixed and she has Dean stand in for her. Dean and Rory are dancing when Rory and Jess start bickering. Dean ends up saying that it doesn't matter cause she's not his girlfriend anymore and that he tried to ignore it, but she's totally into Jess and he's into her so Shane had better wise up.
Rory is on the bridge when Jess comes up to her. She admits that Dean was right, and asks Jess if he was. And when he doesn't respond, she says that he was right about Rory. Jess admits he was right. Then he makes sure that Rory and Dean are broken up and says he has to go take care of something and leaves.
Episode 3.8: Let the Games Begin Airs 11.19.02 Richard initiates a visit to Yale with Rory. Emily and Lorelai also come along. Richard didn't tell her that he had arranged for her to see someone in admissions. When she goes into the meeting unprepared she becomes quite upset with her grandfather.
There's no official declaration between Rory and Jess, but the scene in the previous episode made it pretty obvious that they want to be together. They're acting a little nervous around each other, but something is definitely starting.
Luke is happy that Jess and Rory are a couple, but he's also feeling protective of Rory and so laws down the law with Jess regarding the relationship.
Jess and Rory go upstairs from the diner to look for a book. Luke interrupts them (no kissing has yet taken place).
Later, Jess and Rory meet up and smooch a bit.
Jess and Rory leave the diner separately. In a sad scene, Rory goes to find Dean and explain things a little. She says that she's sorry about the way things turned out, and that she did love him once. He's hurt and angry.

these are very accurate so enjoy!
Episode 3.6, Take the Deviled Eggs Airs 11.05.02 Written by Daniel Palladino Characters present in this episode include but are not limited to: Kirk, Taylor, Lane, Babette, Miss Patty, Luke, Lorelai, Rory and Jess.
Main characters who are not in this episode are: Dean, Emily Richard and Chris.
Taylor and the townsfolk are intrigued by a protest.
Jess buys a car. Luke talks to Jess about where he got the money to buy the car, and we find out that Jess has been working at Wal-Mart to earn money.
A bra is seen in the back of Jess's car.
Jess and Lane have a little confrontation about the car he bought. Lane is mad at Jess because he has a car after "wrecking Rory's." Rory goes along with Lane's rant, though we know she doesn't blame Jess, she is obviously angry about something.
Lorelai and Rory go to Sherry's baby shower in Boston. The invitation only included Rory (Sherry's friends talked her out of inviting Lorelai), but Lorelai drives Rory to the shower and when Sherry sees Lorelai in the car, she talks her into staying. Lorelai and Rory both sing karaoke. Sherry and Lorelai have a conversation that gets Lorelai so pissed that she goes into the bathroom and rearranges the medicine cabinet. There is some great stuff where they have to play baby shower games.
Lorelai is so upset and frustrated after Sherry's talk with her at the baby shower that when they see Jess's new car on the way home, Rory suggests that to vent their anger, they egg it with the deviled eggs that Sherry made them take home.
When Jess sees that someone has egged his car, he wonders who would do such a thing. Luke seems very amused by the whole situation, although he doesn't know who it was.

lol, don't worry not in the mood to debate dean/jess/tristan... just making the point that none of rory's "guys" have been developed enough to be anything but stereotypical...we've heard little snippets but its all pretty mysterious.
Dean- the nice guy Jess-the badass Tristan- the rich kid
